Iran highlights Tour; 20 days, is an extended Iran Tour Package for travelers having more time and interested visiting Iran even with more passion. This Iran Travel Package covers the central cities as Tehran, Isfahan, Yazd, Shiraz, and the west cities such as Hamedan, Kermanshah, Ahvaz, and some important cities in east Iran like Kerman. Tour Itinerary

You will most likely arrive in Iran in the midnight or early morning of the following day according to the most international flight schedules heading to Iran. Most probably, your arrival should be in the next morning. This day will not be counted as one of your tour’s day, but we need to keep your room booked to rest upon arrival in Iran.

Arrival in IKIA, Tehran Iran.
You will be greeted at the airport by your guide and driver and transfer to your designated hotel. Have some hour rest and get ready to start exploring Iran from Tehran.
Walk along with the history in the National Museum of Iran. Feel the society in person by walking in Tehran Grand Bazaar and visiting the Golestan Palace Complex which is the house of amazing tile works.

In north Tehran with a different feeling of more modern Iran including visiting the Saadabad Palace Complex, where is home to different palaces and museums from Shah’s time (The King Mohammad Reza Pahlavi). Darband valley is just next to it, a place to eat and feel society in person. A great panoramic view over the city of Tehran, from one of the tallest towers in the world, Milad Tower. You will enjoy an evening walk on Nature (Tabiat) Bridge.

Reay to go Hamedan, one of the oldest cities in Iran which was in existence since the Meden Empire, also as the Summer Capital of Achaemenid. Mausoleum of Avicenna, the Iranian global fame medical scholar, is there to visit. Hamedan is considered the second holiest center for Jewish as the Tomb of Esther & Mordechai is there too. Don’t forget to try a fresh carrot juice nearby, also you should taste “falafel” an Iranian local snack there.
Have your evening blessed in the mausoleum of Persian poet “Baba Taher”.

Another day in Hamedan to visit the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Base of Hegmataneh, which was the Summer capital of Achaemenid, there you will visit the historical site, museum, and a church.
Later in your day to visit Alaviyan Dome with magnificent Stucco work design.
Ave your evening out and pay a visit to Ganjnameh Ancient Inscriptions to remain from Darius the Great’ Persian Empire King – 500 BC. The area of Ganjnameh is also a relaxing and cool area furnished with a waterfall. You will visit the locals and the crowd of Iranian tourists in this area so why not have chat with them and fell ore of Iranian hospitality.

West Iran has been always an enriched area for the Iranian Government from the very old historical time of Iran to the modern Iran of today. Sassanid the Persian Kings were also in the region and had one their holiest temple in Kangavar in between of Hamedan and KermanshahAnahita Temple” in which they were worshiping God considering water as one of the four major holy elements in nature.
We go Bistoun Historical Complex which is like a museum to show the hierarchy of the Persian Empire. Darius the Great’s most important inscriptions are in Boston.
Arrive in Kermanshah and have your evening relax.

Do you enjoy the natural landscapes of the mountains, it is the time for enjoying it. We are going Khuzestan, also whereof the oldest inhabitant of Iranian Plateau were living there the Elamites.
On our way there we will have a breaking stop in Khoramabad to visit Falokolaflak Citadel – an anthropology museum now.
We will Go to the great Khuzestan and stay in our hotel in Dezful and get ready to explore more of the Persian history the following day.

Elamites were of the first inhabitants in the Iran Plateau even before the arrival of the Arians who later founded the Persian Empires. Today is has been planned to take you to visit the very depths of Iran’s ancient history and Iranian culture. You will travel back in time to Iranian ancient civilizations even before central governments. Three World Heritage UNESCO sites are to visit the Shooshtar Historical Hydraulic System, ChoghaZanbil Ziggurat, and Apadana Palace and museum in Susa. You will visit the Tomb of Daniel the prophet before leaving to Ahvaz.
Don’t miss the sunset at ChoghaZanbil Ziggurat which is amazing.

Enjoy driving through the Zagros Mountain again from the foothills in Ahvaz to the city of floras “ Shiraz”. It is an interesting drive as you will enjoy both the landscape and many oil wells along the road.
On your way to Shiraz, Bishapour Ancient City Tourism Attraction is to visit. The city and all of its assets have remained from the Persian Sassanid Empire. Both palaces and bas reliefs are to visit there.
Arrive in Shiraz, Check-in your hotel, and enjoy your evening.

Shiraz is enriched by Persian cuisine; they are yummy and tasteful.
Time to explore Shiraz and get to feel a great sample of Persian Paradise gardens like ERAM GARDEN. Join the time machine to go back to the 18th century when Karim Khan Zand ruled over Iran from Shiraz: Arg-e Karim Khan (citadel of Karim Khan), Vakil Bazaar, and Saraye Moshir are to visit.
Later in the afternoon, you will visit the universal known Persian Pink Mosque; Nasir al-Mulk (Pink) Mosque. The evening will be inspiring in Shah Cheragh Holy Shrine to get to know more of Shiite Muslim culture.

You will experience a great day in the World Heritage Persepolis (WorldHeritage) standing 2500 years in the world’s history. You will have the chance to visit the smallest details, reliefs, and the greatest of sculptures in your visit to the Persepolis and the Necropolis (Naqsh-e Rostam). After your visits there you will have lunch in a relax cool restaurant with more than half a century experience “Laneh Tavoos restaurant”.
Return to Shiraz, take shower and have a great evening in the most known Persian poet mausoleum, Hafez.

A Persian food in Haft Khan restaurant is highly recommended for your last night in Shiraz.

Time to hit the road in Iran and drive to Kerman. Though long it’s a day to enjoy the landscape, culture, and nature. Pink Salt Lake in just the first stop. Sassanid Palace in Sarvestan is your historical stop of the day.
On your way to Kerman, you will enjoy both mountainous & desert landscapes. in the middle of the mountain near Estahban, you will drive through one of the biggest figs’ jungles in Iran.
Arrive in Kerman and enjoy your evening there.

An excursion day in Kerman. Shah Nemat-Olah Vali Shrine as one of the most known Sufi’s in Iran and a great sample of Persian GardensShahzadeh Mahan Historical Garden” is to visit in Mahan.
East Iran is home to citadels as Iranian use to live all together in a safer place as citadel; The World’s second-largest mud-brick citadel, “Rayen Citadel’ is one of the best-preserved one, as it was resident till 150 years ago.
Today is also a great day for photographers and desert lovers, as in the afternoon you will go Shahdad, where the most different deserts in Iran “Kaluts” are there.

Ganjali Khan complex is still the center of trading and business in Kerman as it was in the past. In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, check-out from the hotel and visit Ganjali Khan Square including Ganjali Khan Bathhouse and Bazaar.
Drive through the Lut Desert, where you see lots of Caravanserai on your way, our final destiny for today is to experience a unique stay in one these caravansaries “Zein-o-Din Caravanserai” tonight, the food, silence and the sky full of stars are great and remarkable there.
Before reaching Zein-o-Din you will visit the rocky village of Meymand and get to know how tough and interesting life is there.

Do you know the secrets of living in the desert, the way people of Yazd have used them to preserve themselves? By visiting different sites in Yazd, the secrets will be revealed. It is all about water; how to use, save, and keep it fresh in the desert, we will go to visit the Water Museum, Water Reservoir, and the Wind Towers.
Yazd is not only a religious city for Muslims but also it is the most important Iranian city nowadays for the Zoroaster’s. As the center of Zoroaster’s, we will pay a visit to Fire Temple and Towers of Silence.

Don’t miss the amazing Jameh Mosque of Yazd.
Zurkhaneh, the traditional Iranian’s gym is our last program to do.

You are heading the amazing city of Isfahan or Esfahan is known for its magnificent Islamic architecture of mosques and the world-known Naghshe Jahan Square.
On your way to Isfahan, you will visit one more time all relevant attractions of living in the desert at a single place, city of Meybod and you will get to know of their Kilim Handicrafts.
Lunch stop along with visiting one of the oldest mosques “Jameh Mosque of Naein” in Iran is in Naein.
Arrive early evening in Isfahan, check-in your hotel, take shower and Do NOT miss the evening crowd in Naghshe Jahan Square.

Isfahan or so-called by Isfahan’s local “Esfahan” and its unique beauty is to visit today.
Isfahan’s beauty is being compared as “Half of the World” due to the magnificent Naghshe Jahan Square; the second largest square in the world.
Visiting the best of architectural buildings such as Imam Mosque (also called, Shah Mosque & Jameh Abbasi Mosque), Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Aali Qapu Palace, and Qeysariye Bazaar familiarize you with Safavid’s mentality. The vast square is to walk and enjoy the best.
Chehel Sotoon Museum Palace as one of the most outstanding Persian Garden palaces is to visit and get to know with the art of miniature.

Attractions; Naghshe Jahan Square, Shah Mosque, Sheikh Lotfolla Mosque, Qeysariye Bazaar, Chehel Sotoon Musuem Palace

Jameh Mosque of Isfahan as the mosque of Islamic Iranian architecture and calligraphy to be visited in the morning after checking out your hotel. Before leaving Isfahan, you will visit Vank Armenian Cathedral in Jolfa district, you will love the atmosphere and painting inside the church.

Most Locals in Isfahan have their evening walk along the river in Isfahan. Join them and visit Khaju Bridge and Sio Se Pol Bridge on the river.

Heading to Natanz to visit Natanz Jameh Mosque, in the heart of Zagros mountain before reaching the Iranian red village; Abyaneh, a village in the mountain with red houses and rich culture.
It’s about 70 more KM to drive to go Kashan.

Kashan is more known for its historical mansions than its carpet and its material such as silk. Tabatabaei Natanzi Historical House is one very good example of such mansions to show you an Iranian lifestyle and richness by 19 centuries, visit the house in detail one behalf of all historical houses in Kashan. Every house has lots of similarities but unique styles and highlights as Broujerdiha Historical House are unique for its ceiling painting and roof. Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse with good use of the sun in the ceiling to heat and get light into the bath provides. The best view over the beauty of the Broujerdiha historical house on the horizon of Zagros mountain at the back.
Hey, one of these houses is nowadays a restaurant, so put the feeling of eating in these houses into practice.
After lunch and getting refresh you will visit Agha Bozorg Mosque as one of the still practicing Madrassa for religious students, a good chance to see how the students think, they are open to talk. Bazaar of Kashan and Fin Garden, World Heritage, is your last attraction to visit before going IKIA.
Qom; Iran’s Vatican, center of Shiite Muslim academy is between Kashan and your way back to IKIA, if interested we can stop to visit Fatima Holy Shrine and get to know more of them.
Have some hours rest before taking your departure flight in one of the hotels located at the IKIA airport.
