Abyaneh is one of the most beautiful Historical villages in Iran which is known as the red village because of its red soil and houses.
The village is located in Isfahan Province 180 kilometers southeast of Kashan. Abyaneh is famous for its architectural styles that show human adaptation to nature. This village has narrow alleys and compact houses, the house builds on the natural slope of the mountain. The main material of the houses and buildings is red clay which decorated with latticed windows and wooden doors.
The roof of each house is used as the courtyard of another house similar to Masuleh another historical and amazing village of Iran located in the Gilan Province. Abyaneh has an old history date back to more than 1500 years ago. Locals are honoring their traditions; the language that they speak is Parthian Pahlavi like their ancestors and their costumes are beautiful and unique.
This magnificent and antiquity village has enough potential to become a UNESCO heritage site. It is a must-see tourist attraction for those who are planning to travel from Kashan to Isfahan or in the opposite direction.
