Borujerdi House is another magnificent historical house of Kashan with the special desert architecture that makes it a stunning representation of the Persian traditional house.

Borujerdiha Historical House is a beautiful house built for love. A wealthy merchant who was courting a woman from a rich and respectful family in Kashan (Tabatabaei Family) built Borujerdi House in 1857. Since the Tabatabaei house was the most beautiful house in Kashan, the marriage condition of the bride was to have a house as beautiful as her family.

The construction takes almost 20 years, with more than 150 people involved. Borujerdi House is completely designed based on desert architecture, in order to face the hot and arid summers, and also very cold and dry winters.
