Azadi tower is part of the Azadi cultural complex that includes an underground museum, library, and salons to display the different exhibitions.
Azadi tower formerly known as Shahyad tower is the symbol of Tehran and one of the top thing to do in this metropolitan capital, that gained its new name Azadi(Freedom) after the revolution in 1979. Since there is heavy traffic, it is recommended to go there by metro or bus. The metro and bus stations are near there.
