On July 16th, 2019 the Iranian government has approved that the Chinese travelers need no visa for visiting Iran for 21 days.
Chinese tourists will no longer need to obtain visas and they allow staying in Iran without a visa up to 21 days from the date of entry, said Vali Teymouri, deputy head of the Iran Tourism Organization.
This agreement will motivate Chinese travelers to travel to Iran easily. China has the world’s most outbound tourists and it is still growing. According to the statics, 52,000 Chinese tourists visited Iran during the last year.
In an earlier move to attract more tourists, the Iranian cabinet announced that visitors’ passports will no longer stamp.
Last year, the United States announced that those travelers who visited certain countries including Iran would face restrictions on entering the USA.
